This is a historic moment in time for me and The Sonic Universe. Exactly one decade ago this week, the Sonic Paradigm album was released. 

This album means a lot to me because it was the birth of the vision of the The Sonic Universe. Sonic Paradigm is a concept album and it encompasses the essence of what the music aims to bring to the world. It reflects on living in love in the vast cosmic Universe.

I will always attribute the foundation of The Sonic Universe to crossing paths with my soul-collaborator, Kay Glynn, while attending a songwriting conference years ago. We co-wrote over 50 songs together (I think???)

I co-wrote Sonic Paradigm with Kay Glynn and together with Keith Lawrence, we produced it with Kevin Fisher.  Special thanks also to Prabhupada’s servant, Punya for his spiritually conscious thoughts that were so inspirational to our songwriting; and also to Toby Karlin, Ethan Greenblat, Maura Murphy, Guru Das (Roger Siegel), Molly Litman, Mischa Wagner, Carla Brown, Beth Alspaugh, Val Rosas, the24studio, and NASA for their contributions.

"The Sonic Universe," formerly "Alex Arndt & The Sonic Universe" has always been a strong force for positivity with songs like “Oh Zalika” (on “Sonic Paradigm” album), used for a hungry children project; “Strength Through Peace,” used as USA presidential campaign theme song for peace; “Swallowed in the Pocket,” a song about drug addiction written for the hollywood feature movie “In My Pocket”; “Plastic Soup,” a song in connection with marine environmental organizations concerning the critical plastic problem in our oceans; and an EP called “Animal Compassion” which was performed at global conferences and has had years of international television coverage.
